Environmental liability for any size risk

Environmental pollution risks are usually complex. Some pollution incidents can result from a sudden and accidental event while others may develop slowly and take years to be discovered.

Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL)

General and specialty trade contractors face many pollution risks stemming from operations at their job sites. These include contaminated soil disposal and the accidental release of fuel oil, chemicals and/or toxic gases from broken pipelines, utilities and stationary and mobile fuel tanks.

Contractors Pollution Liability provides coverage for third-party claims for bodily injury and/or property damage. It will also help cover the cost of remediation stemming from pollution incidents resulting from the contractor’s covered operations.

You may customize the policy by adding off-site transportation coverage and exposures at non-owned locations.

Premises & Storage Tank Pollution Liability

Pollution Liability isn’t just a concern for contactors. Manufacturers, automobile/truck dealers, gas stations, convenience stores, medical/dental offices, printers, dry cleaning operations, etc., all have the potential to experience an environmental claim. Despite safety protocols that most business owners have in place, accidental spills still happen, just as above and below ground storage tanks may eventually leak.
