Cyber liability a growing risk

A recent article from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) cautions consumers about the costly risk of cyber security breaches. The U.S. had 781 data breaches last year affecting more than 150 million records.

These widespread attacks mean consumers must become more educated about the risks and understand how to safeguard themselves with insurance.

That’s why NAIC has issued its NAIC Roadmap for Cybersecurity Consumer Protections to help educate consumers on their rights. You can use this resource when discussing Cyber Liability Coverage with your clients for Motorists Mutual, as well as eligible Wilson Mutual policyholders in Wisconsin and Phenix Mutual policyholders in Rhode Island and South Carolina.
