Rhode Island agents: reminder notices of license renewals sent via email

Rhode Island discontinued mailing reminder notices of license renewals as of March 1, 2017. All renewal notices are now sent out via email.

Keep in mind that it is your obligation to keep contact information, including email addresses, up to date. You are still obligated to renew licenses even if you do not receive a notice. An additional fee may allow for the reinstatement of the license if the reinstatement application is made within one year of the expiration. The applicant will have to apply for a new license if it is not renewed for more than a year.
