Renewal process for commercial policies issued in NH, RI and SC

We want to help you understand our renewal process for commercial policies issued in New Hampshire, Rhode Island and South Carolina. We set up policies internally 90 days prior to the renewal date. Once the policy is accepted by the underwriter, renewal worksheets are sent to the agent.

The underwriter will then send a formal proposal to the agent, and 34 days prior to the renewal date, a system-generated renewal offer is sent to the insured. This offer outlines that the policy is coming up for renewal and informs the insured of his or her premium.

Nineteen days before the renewal date, the bill is produced and mailed to the insured. Once payment is posted, the renewal policy is printed and mailed to the agency for disbursement to the insured.
