Please read this important 2019 year-end notice from Motorists Life.

Commissioners standard ordinary (CSO) table – Jan. 1, 2020

Dec. 31, 2019, is the mandatory deadline for policy issue of products based on the 2001 mortality table.
As of Jan. 1, 2020, all newly issued life insurance policies must comply with the 2017 CSO table.

Pricing of whole life products affected by the new 2017 CSO table

New product features

Non-participating whole life:
- Preferred underwriting tier
- Additional short pay options: 30-pay and paid-up at age 67
Participating and non-participating whole life:
- Preferred best and preferred plus underwriting classes available for term rider

New application packets

As of Jan. 1, 2020, the following application packets will be updated on the Motorists Life Agents-Only website to reflect new applications:

Easy app and underwriting/new business applications with an edition date of “(7-18)” will not be accepted after Jan. 31, 2020.

2020 Leaders Conference and quarterly bonus

The cut-off date for submissions qualifying for Leaders Conference and quarterly bonus is Dec. 16, 2019.
