Motorists supports the American Heart Association
February is heart month, and at Motorists Insurance Group we're promoting heart health awareness to our associates and social media followers. We have partnered with the American Heart Association to spread awareness and raise funds for those battling heart disease.
Last month, 28 associates in our Charleston office participated in CPR training through the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority. Other associates in the group received tips from the American Heart Association on hands-only CPR and how to spot a stroke.
Associates had the opportunity to spread the love and support the American Heart Association by purchasing candy grams to send to their coworkers. All the proceeds benefitted the American Heart Association. Motorists also supported the Go Red for Women movement by wearing red on National Wear Red Day and sponsoring the Go Red for Women Luncheon in Columbus. Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women.
