Drew Roberts promoted to director, small business

Drew Roberts is joining the commercial lines underwriting team as director, small business.

Drew joined Motorists Insurance Group in May 2017 as a district sales manager for the Eastern Tennessee district. In that role, Drew was instrumental in the successful introduction of Motorists Insurance and new commercial lines products to Tennessee.

Drew holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. He began his career as a producer with an independent agency before joining a regional insurance carrier. There, he held both underwriting and leadership roles in their small business underwriting department. Drew’s experience will add tremendous value to the commercial lines team.

Drew will be relocating to Columbus in early March and will assume responsibility for the small business underwriters assigned to the Upper Midwest and Central Midwest regions. Sarah Devor, director, small business, will maintain responsibility for the small business underwriters serving the Atlantic and Eastern Midwest regions.
