What's your 2019 business plan?
It’s officially 2019, and for many, the first of the year marks the beginning of new professional goals. Did you hit your 2018 target as of Dec. 31? If so, congratulations! Let’s brainstorm what your 2019 business plan goal for life insurance sales may be …
If you’re motivated by numbers and commissions, two goals to set for the year could be:
- How much life insurance in dollars do you want to sell?
- How many clients do you want to protect?
If money isn’t your main motivator, and, rather, you are incentivized by growth and learning, perhaps one of these goals may be a good fit for you in the year ahead:
- Learn to quote and submit via the e-App
- Sell particular products that you haven’t yet, such as simplified issue/grade benefit whole life
How to talk to policyholders about simplified issue/grade benefit whole life
If you have policyholders who are hesitant to undergo the requirements involved with fully underwritten plans but are concerned about paying for funeral costs, final medical expenses and other bills, one of these policies may be the right fit for them.
In addition to offering immediate coverage, Motorists Life’s simplified issue whole life and graded benefit whole life policies also offer policyholders a unique advantage: the return of mortal remains, should the primary insured pass away more than 300 miles away from their place of residence. These policies are available for individuals up to 80 years old; policyholders may add children through age 17 for a $1 premium per month, per child.
