Motorists completes commitment to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

In 2016, Motorists Insurance Group made a three-year commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to serve as presenting sponsors of their new NOSH Gala fundraising event. In February 2018, Motorists completed this commitment.

This year’s event included tastings from six of Cameron Mitchell’s top chefs, a silent auction, dinner by Cameron Mitchell Catering, a live auction and dancing. During dinner, guests heard from speakers Dr. Mark Minor, a pediatric pulmonology fellow and father to a child with cystic fibrosis, and Alyson and Andrea Hoffman, young adult twins living with cystic fibrosis.

During the event, Motorists Insurance Group was given the Hands of Hope Award by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to thank Motorists for their three-year sponsorship. The award was created with the handprints of five children living with cystic fibrosis. The 2018 NOSH Gala raised more than $66,000 to further the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation mission of curing cystic fibrosis and providing all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full and productive lives.
