New Risk Management platform and recommendations process
Motorists Insurance Group is excited to announce the implementation of a new Risk Management survey ordering and tracking system. The new system is called AuSuM and is a state-of-the-art risk management and loss control platform used by many insurance carriers and in related industries. The system is designed to integrate with our new commercial lines solution as we roll it out over the next couple years. Risk Management will begin using AuSuM on April 10, 2017.
The new system will have the capability to send recommendations via email as a PDF attachment or as a printed copy mailed to the policyholder. To improve efficiency and effectiveness, the recommendations will be sent directly to the policyholder with a copy to the agency, underwriter and/or DSM on the same day. This procedure of communicating directly with policyholders can help them enhance productive environments while still maintaining communication to the agency.
The initial letter will go out the same day the survey report is completed. If there is no response to the recommendations within 30 days, a second notice letter will be issued. After 45 days, the follow-up process will be turned over to underwriting.
