Updated compensation module coming soon
Our compensation module will be upgraded in 2024. The new system will provide increased flexibility for how your commissions are paid and offer simplified, efficient statements. Starting in February, you will receive one combined commission statement and payment on the second business day of each month, including all lines of business, by agency location. Plus, you will no longer need to access the separate line of business tiles to view commission statements. A new tile, Commission Statements, will replace the separate tiles in Encova Edge.
After February, those who currently have access will be able to see updated commission statements by logging in to Encova Edge and selecting the new Commission Statements tile. Following the upgrade, all commission statements will be electronic-only, and workers’ compensation statements will no longer be mailed.
To accomplish a smooth commission payment transition from our legacy system to our new compensation module, beginning in December 2023 and beyond, all premium audit transactions posted in a given month will be included on that month's commission statement to be paid the following month. For example, if the audit transaction is performed in December, it will show on the December statement and will be payable in January.
New with the upgraded module, commission downloads for workers’ compensation will be available. Contact our Agency Automation team to set it up for your agency. In addition to commission downloads, the workers' compensation statement period end dates are changing. Beginning in December 2023, workers' compensation commissions will include business for Dec. 2 through Dec. 31 and will be paid in January 2024. Any policies or changes that are effective on Jan. 1, 2024, will be included on the January commission statement to be paid via the new compensation module in February 2024.
Commission statements made prior to January 2024 are available in the current respective menu locations. Commission statements for policies in our legacy systems (i.e., Motorists Mutual, Iowa Mutual, Wilson Mutual, Consumers) will still be provided separately.
