We’ve increased your commission: new business workers’ compensation policies

We appreciate your partnership and the trust you show when placing your business with Encova. As communicated in June 2022, we are increasing new business commission rates for workers’ compensation policies with an annual premium of $50,000 or less. Renewals for these policies will remain at the current agency contract commission rates.

New business policies with an effective date of June 10, 2022, or after will follow the below commission schedule: 

• Policies with an estimated annual premium of $25,000 or less:
  • 15% for the initial policy term
• Policies with an estimated annual premium of $25,001 – $50,000:
  • 12.5% for the initial policy term

Premium audit transactions on these policy periods will follow the new commission schedule listed above. These changes apply to new business policies written in all states except Wisconsin. An updated company commission rate schedule is now available.
