Bill Bishop recognized with 2022 OIA Independence Bell Award

Our warmest congratulations to Associated Insurance Agencies President Bill Bishop on this outstanding achievement.

A long-time Encova Insurance agent, Bill is a champion for Ohio’s independent insurance agents. He has significantly contributed to the betterment of the independent agency system and Ohio Insurance Agents (OIA), and, like Encova, he takes pride in being involved in his community. He is incredibly active in business, civic and political organizations, and he mentors new agents to use their voices and represent their profession.

For many statewide elected officials, Bill is viewed as the voice of independent insurance agents. He has been an active volunteer leader of OIA for over 15 years and was recently elected by the OIA Board of Directors to serve as national director of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.

Bill elevates independent insurance agents and strengthens the independent agency system. We are proud to have Bill and his agency as long-time partners of Encova.
