Informational agency tools now available to help construction clients

We created informational documents you can reference to help your construction clients manage their contractual risk when they use subcontractors or when your client is used as a subcontractor. The terms in these documents will require revision to reflect the circumstances of the contractual relationships and/or the legal requirements of the state. Consultation with a qualified attorney may be required.

Two informational contracts are included in the links below for scenarios when your policyholder uses subcontractors or for when they are used as a subcontractor and want to propose alternative contract language.

Two checklists were also created to help you evaluate the positive and negative characteristics of a contract. Each contract checklist is a fillable form with informational comments to assist with your evaluation. The checklists support the quality of the contracts that your policyholders use with subcontractors or the evaluation of contracts policyholders sign when they are the subcontractor.

We recommend you download and save the checklists to your computer to view the checkbox hover text.
