COMMERCIAL INLAND MARINE CYBER INCIDENT EXCLUSIONS

Cyber events and digital property continue to evolve. To keep pace with these changes in the market, Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) constantly reviews commercial inland marine forms for necessary revisions.

As a result of recent reviews, ISO implemented endorsements that clarify and reinforce the intent of ISO's commercial inland marine coverage. By implementing these endorsements, ISO is also directing coverage for cyber incidents to forms specifically developed to address these exposures, such as Encova cyber liability coverage.

Beginning with policies effective July 1, 2022, Encova’s commercial inland marine policies will include an ISO cyber incident exclusion endorsement. The endorsement will exclude loss or damage resulting from a cyber incident.
