Commercial lines agents: Manage your book of business in the portal
Portal notifications
Setting up your notifications in the Motorists Insurance portal is an important part of managing your book of business with Encova. You have the ability to subscribe to various notifications, which can be viewed in the portal or received via email.
You can now receive notifications for policy, billing and claims information, including:
- Policy audit
- Policy canceled
- Rescission of cancellation
- Underwriting issues resolved – new business
- Underwriting issues resolved – policy change
- Down payment needed
- Past due account
- Closed claim
- New claim
- Reopened claim
- Non-renewal
- Reinstatement
Log in to your agent portal account to subscribe to notifications. From the welcome screen, select the user profile (your name) located in the header and select “notification settings.” On this page, you can subscribe to notifications for policy, billing and claims. You can set notifications to be received in real time via email or at a scheduled time each day.
Faster turnaround on revisions
The agent portal doesn’t just let you quote new business and service your current book. You can also make revisions to your current policy.
When entering revisions in the portal, you will have an accelerated response time of one to two days, as opposed to 10 days when a revision is submitted via email.
