Updated process for mortgagee changes

Effective immediately, if Encova receives documentation directly from a mortgagee that references the same entity but a different address, we will make the update.

For example:

Existing documentation:
Wells Fargo Bank
P.O. Box 100515
Florence, SC 29502
 
New documentation:
Wells Fargo Bank
ISAOA ATIMA
P.O. Box 1274
Florence, SC 29502
 
In this case, we would update the entity to reflect the address change in the new documentation.

If the documentation we receive from the mortgagee is an entirely new entity, we will forward this to you. For example, if Huntington National Bank is listed on the existing documentation, and new documentation lists Suntrust Bank, we will forward this to you to reach out to your insured to verify the change. Due to the frequency at which loans are sold and transferred, the only way for us to ensure that we have the correct mortgagee on record is for you to verify and submit the change. No change will be made in these situations without your direction.
