March is women's history month

March is Women's History Month, a month to reflect on the contributions of women to history and contemporary society. This year, our women's resource group celebrated by bringing in a guest speaker and giving back to their community.

Early this month, the group invited guest speaker Angel Harris from Dress for Success Columbus to talk about the organization. The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic indepedence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life.

The women's resource group also wanted to give back to their community. Over two days, they sent two groups of associates to Faith Mission Community Kitchen in Columbus to serve lunch to the clients. You can see photos from the opportunities on our Facebook page.

Finally, to thank Angel for speaking to our organization and to further support women in the community, our companies hosted a clothing drive. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the drive was cut short. However, we were still able to provide numerous donations to Dress for Success chapters across our footprint. We will continue the drive later in the year.
